Lucknow: Lucknow Public College, Sahara States, Jankipuram, proudly hosted the CISCE Regional Cricket Tournament (U-17 & U-19 Boys) for UP & UK to be held from 5th to 8th September, 2024.
The opening ceremony was honoured by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Dr. Anandeshwar Pandey, General Secretary, UP Olympic Association, alongside Guest of Honour Dr. Syed Rafat Zubair Rizwi, Treasurer, UP Olympic Association, Founder & Chairman, Lucknow Public Schools & Colleges and member of Parliament, Pratapgarh district Dr. S.P Singh, Deputy Director, Lucknow Public Schools and Colleges & Principal of Lucknow Public College, Sahara States Meena Tangri and other dignitaries.
The opening ceremony highlighted students’ flamboyant & scintillating musical and dance performances, the enlightening speeches of the Chief Guest, Founder & Chairman and honour of the eminent guests by presentation of shawl and memento.
The tournament fostered exceptional skills, sportsmanship and camaraderie, creating unforgettable memories for players and spectators alike, underscoring the importance of youth sports and the spirit of cricket among the region’s finest young athletes.
